Rigatoni Pasta with Ham and Tomatoes

Original recipe makes 1 Serving
3 slicesHam
3/4 cupOnion
1 Tomato
2 clovesGarlic
Dried oregano
Salt
Red pepper flakes
Olive oil
Rigatoni or Spaghetti Pasta
Parmesan cheese
Fresh dill

Rigatoni Pasta with Ham and Tomatoes Preparation

Place water in a large lidded pot. Add salt and bring to a boil. Meanwhile you can prepare the sauce for your pasta.

Add olive oil (or a cooking spray) on the skillet and cook the onions with garlic for 3 minutes or till translucent. Add red pepper flakes.

Then add tomatoes and cook for 3 more minutes. Add the spices with salt and pepper and put ham cut into the lines. Let the sauce cook for 5 more minutes, so it gets the flavor.

After you will need to add Parmesan Cheese with the heavy cream and heat the cream, Do not let it boil.

When the water boils add pasta to the pot, cook according the directions.

Drain the pasta and combine with the sauce and add more Parmesan cheese, cook for 2 minutes.

Transfer pasta to a serving bowl. Sprinkle fresh lemon juice and decorate with the fresh basil.

Notes

You can use Prosciutto instead of ham, even replace it with the chicken.

Do not forget to warm the plates where you are going to serve your Pasta!!!

You can use your favorite pasta for this recipe.
