Carey's Four Bean Summer Salad

This is a wonderful and fresh tasting bean salad, most are only 3 bean this just has a bit more in it and it leaves you wanting another helping, its especially great in the summer time was a side dish to most anything at a picnic. it holds well in the refrigerator for several days , best made in advance.

Original recipe makes 6
1 15.25-oz cankidney beans
1 12-oz canYellow wax bean
1 15-oz cangarbanzo beans
1 9-oz canfrozen French-cut
1/2 Red onion; finely chopped
1/2 largeGreen bell pepper
1/2 largeRed bell pepper; diced
4 tablespoonsolive oil
4 tablespoonsRed wine vinegar
4 tablespoonsItalian dressing
1 teaspoonHoney
1 large cloveGarlic; pressed
1 teaspoonDried basil; crumbled

Carey's Four Bean Summer Salad Preparation

1. Drain all four Beans and strain then set aside in a large bowl.

2. Cut your onion and bell peppers add to the bowl.

3. In a seperate mixing bowl; combine oil, vinegar, italian dressing, honey, garlic, basil , whisk well,

combine with other ingredients in large bowl and mix well to coat, let marinade several hours or over night for best flavor.
