60 gramsBrown sugar; Dark
2 teaspoonsKetjap manis; (A Sweet Indonesian Soy Sauce)
60 mlRice vinegar; White
60 mlChicken Stock
2 tablespoonsTomato paste
3 tablespoonsCornflour
2 cmGinger Root; (Fresh, shredded)
1 eachOnion; (Small, Diced)
1 teaspoonSambal Ulek; (Hot Indonesian Chili Paste)
1 eachChili Pepper; (Fresh)
2 tablespoonsOil
1 cansPineapple juice; (Optional)

Babi Panggang sauce (2) Preparation

Soften the diced onion in the oil.

Mix remaining ingredients and add to the onions.

Slowly simmer for 5 min. until sauce thickens.

If needed sauce can be thinned down with water or pineapple juice.
