1 Onion; diced
2 clovesGarlic; peeled and crushed
1 teaspoonGinger Powder
1 teaspoonSugar
1 tablespoonSambal Ulek; Hot Chili Paste
1 canTomatoes; Diced
1 canGreen Beans (French or Regular); Large Can, or 2 small cans
3 tablespoonsKecap Manis; Indonesian Sweet Soy Sauce
1 tablespoonOil

Sambal Goreng Buncis - Boontjes Preparation

Dice the onion and crush the garlic.

Fry in the oil for several minutes.

Add the Ginger, Sugar and Sambal ulek and fry for a further minute.

Add the diced tomatoes with the juice to the onion mix.

Bring to boil. Add drained Beans and Kecap Manis.

Heath through and serve.

Notes

For more original flavor, use fresh green beans.

Obviously, simmer longer until beans are tender.
