Original recipe makes 15 Servings
WET MIX
15 Cocktail sausages
DRY MIX
1 cFlour
1 tbSugar
1 cFine cornmeal
1 1/4 cmilk
1/3 cMelted margarine
4 tsBaking Powder
1 Egg

Toad-In-The-Hole Cornmeal Muffins Preparation

Reheat oven to 400F, prepare pans. Blend wet mix ingredients (except sausages). Add dry mix previously combined until just blended. Two-thirds fill the pans & pop a sausage into the middle of each muffin. The mixture should be firm enough to hold up the sausages. Bake for 15-20 mins. Makes 15 muffins.
