Original recipe makes 1 Servings
1 1/2 cUnblanched almonds
2 tbUnsalted butter
1/2 tsCumin
1 dsHot pepper sauce
1 tbWorcestershire Sauce
1 tbPickling salt

Toasted Salted Almonds Preparation

In saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, cumin and hot pepper sauce; simmer gently for 5 minutes. Stir in almonds and coat well. Spread nuts on baking sheet and bake in 325=F8F oven, stirring occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes or until toasted. Sprinkle with salt and serve warm. Makes 1 1/2 cups. Source: Canadian Living Magazine ch. *Nuts can be cooled and stored in airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Reheat in 325=F8F oven for about 4 minutes or just until warm.
