"I made the sugar-water mixture on the stove and put some mint leaves in for an almost mojito-like result. I only needed about 5 cups of water, I like mine on the more tart side!" - tm4girlYield: 4 Servings Ready in 45 minutes

Fresh squeezed Limeade Preparation
Always wash your fruit before preparing.
Heat 2 cups of water in microwave or sauce pan and pour in sugar, stir until dissolved. Set aside.
Cut each lime in half and use either a squeeze or a juicer until you collect 2 cups (16 ounces) of lemon juice and pulp. Remove any seeds.
Pour the prepared sugar water, lime juice, and remaining water into a 2 quart pitcher and stir.
Serve over ice and garnish with a lime slice.
Notes
Heating the water before stirring in the sugar helps the sugar dissolve easier!!
You can use the lemons for zest in other dishes!!
2 cups = 16 fluid ounces!!
A citrus juicer works great!! (no need to squeeze)
Cutting a slot half way through your lemon garnish makes for a better looking garnish!!
