Original recipe makes 6 Servings
3 tbButter; melted
1 Jar sliced mushrooms; (4oz)
1 Egg; well beaten
1/2 tsSalt
Salt and pepper
5 1/2 lbSole filets
3/4 cFine bread crumbs
Parsley and lemon slices
1/4 cmilk
1/2 cPecan pieces

Baked Filet of Sole Preparation

Saute mushrooms in melted butter until mushrooms are lightly browned. Stir in chopped pecans; sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Spread mixture on filets. Roll tightly and skewer with toothpicks. Combine eggs, milk and salt. Dip fish in egg mixture then roll in bread crumbs. Place in well greased 8" square baking dish. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven about 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily. 4-6 serv. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
