Original recipe makes 10
2 tsPeppers.
9 Dry Red Chili Peppers.
2 tbCoriander seeds.
1 tbFennel seeds.
1/2 cShallots; peeled and sliced
1/4 cGarlics; chopped
1 tbKapi; (shrimp/fish paste)
1/4 cLemon grass; sliced
1 tbKaffir lime rind; cut fine
2 tbGalanga root; cut to strips
2 tsSalt

Thai Red Curry Paste Preparation

Cut open dry red chili pods. Discard seeds, and soak in water for a few minutes. Put all ingredients in a mortar and pound till mixed finely.
