Korean Barbecued Beef
Ingredients
Original recipe makes 4 Servings
| 5 Scallions; Finely chopped |
| 5 clovesGarlic; Minced |
| 2 teaspoonsSesame seeds; Toasted |
| 3 tablespoonsReduced-sodium soy sauce |
| 2 tablespoonsSugar |
| 1 tablespoonWater |
| 2 teaspoonsToasted sesame oil |
| 1 teaspoonRice wine vinegar |
| 1 poundBeef tenderloin; Trimmed and sliced into 1/4" medallions |
Korean Barbecued Beef Preparation
Grind first 3 ingredients in a small food processor or with a mortar and pestle. Stir in next five ingredients.
Pou into shallow dish. Add beef; turn slices to coat. Cover and chill 45 minutes.
Preheat grill to high for direct heat.
Remove beef from marinade (discard marinade). Grill 2 to 3 minutes, turning once.
