Original recipe makes 4 Servings
5 Scallions; Finely chopped
5 clovesGarlic; Minced
2 teaspoonsSesame seeds; Toasted
3 tablespoonsReduced-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoonsSugar
1 tablespoonWater
2 teaspoonsToasted sesame oil
1 teaspoonRice wine vinegar
1 poundBeef tenderloin; Trimmed and sliced into 1/4" medallions

Korean Barbecued Beef Preparation

Grind first 3 ingredients in a small food processor or with a mortar and pestle. Stir in next five ingredients.

Pou into shallow dish. Add beef; turn slices to coat. Cover and chill 45 minutes.

Preheat grill to high for direct heat.

Remove beef from marinade (discard marinade). Grill 2 to 3 minutes, turning once.
