Skillet Noodle Lasagna with Cheese Preparation
Cook 1/2 pound wide egg noodles for 8 min. following package directions. Drain. In bowl, mix together 1 container 1 pound cottage cheese, and 1 package 10 oz frozen creamed spinach. Spread 1 cup extra meaty pasta sauce over bottom of skillet. Arrange 1/3 of cooked noodles over sauce. Spoon 1 1/2 cups sauce over noodles. Top with another third of noodles, spread cottage cheese mixture over noodles. Sprinkle 1 cup shredded pizza cheese blend (mozzarella and cheddar) over cottage cheese. Top with remaining noodles, spread with 1 1/2 cups sauce. Cover skillet, bring to a simmer, simmer 10 min. Sprinkle more pizza cheese blend and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese over top. Cover and simmer 2 min. Remove from heat, let stand 10 min. before serving.*
