1/2 cGranulated sugar
1 tsBaking soda
2 tbButter
1 1/2 cAll-purpose flour
1 tsVanilla
1 pkSemisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cBrown Sugar; firmly packed
1/2 cPeanut butter
2 tbPeanut butter
1 Egg
1/2 cButter
1 tsSalt; (opt)
3 cOld-fashioned oats; uncooked

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Preparation

1. Heat oven to 375F. Beat butters and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. 2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-9 minutes for a chewy cookie, 10-11 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack, cool, store tightly covered. Makes 4-1/2 dozen cookies. From Tuscon area newspapers, 1994, 3rd quarter, courtest Mike Orchekowski. The ingredients used were so inviting. However, the cookies had a dry crumbly texture. Maybe add 1 more egg.
