Steak, Guiness & Cheese Pie Preparation
Fry onions, rosemary and garlic in a pan with olive oil, then add all the rest of the ingredients.
Stir in 100grms of cheddar cheese
Put in a preheated oven at 180c for 2 hours, you can extend this time to soak up the liquid.
Roll out the puff pastry and line the pie bowl, saving 1/3 for the top.
Place the meat mixture in the pie bowl and add another 100gms of cheese on top of the pie filling.
Roll out the top and score criss crosses with a knife. Egg wash edge of pie and put the top on and the egg wash the top and fold over edges. Put in oven for 40 mins at 180c.
