"I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this recipe, as I was searching for a new recipe to use stew meat with.
I modified the recipe slightly, only because I have this great Epicure Teryaki spice blend that I wanted to use up. I used 1 teaspoon of this spice, olive oil in place of the other suggested oil, brown sugar and I omitted the ginger. I mixed it altogether and cooked it on high for 4 hours in my slow cooker. The end result was scrumptious and not too salty!!."

Made per instructions, froze, then thawed when I was ready to make for dinner a week later. I used chicken thighs, they were very tender and flavorful. After they were done I took them out of the sauce and put them under the broiler to crisp, then reduced the sauce on the stove top. Yummy and easy!

Not much flavor in chicken, perhaps did not marinate long enough (overnight). Reduced sauce in order to thicken and was delicious over the rice.

Great sauce! Although I did use both white and brown sugar together (still making 1 cup total) and it was delicious as well. I will def make it again!

It was a bit strong of taste... Maybe the vinegar...

Absolutely beautiful I've tried this with beef and chicken that have been left overnight to marinate.

YUM! I finished the sauce off by adding a little bit of cornstarch and simmering on the stove to thicken. Delish! Will definitely be making this again! Thanks for sharing

Very disappointed used the beef, and none of us liked it, red vinegar wine very overpowering. Preferred the chicken.

This recipe was great! I doubled the ingredients for the sauce and I didnt freeze the chicken before I cooked it. I just marinated the chicken in the sauce for about 30 minutes and then baked the chicken with the sauce like directed.

It was really easy and quick recipe.. Plus it was delicious. I made a ginger sauce with the left over marinade.. It was perfect over white rice.

Great recipe! Everyone really loved the flavor. Instead of freezing, i just put the marinade with chicken breast into the fridge for a few hours. I will defintely make again.
