"This was quite good for a pie made with a boxed pudding mix. I made it as directed, with a layer of sliced bananas on the bottom but not the top - just the cool whip. I did dip my bananas in lemon juice to prevent browning and then dried them before putting them on the bottom of the pie. Everyone seemed to like it and pies just don't get any easier." - Sherri

2 Bananas
1 9-inch diameterBaked pie shell; cooked or graham cracker crumb
2 4-servingBanana INSTANT Pudding Mix; or Vanilla
2 1/2 cupsmilk; Cold
1 8-oz tubCool Whip; thawed

Banana Cream Pie (#12) Preparation

Slice banana into pie shell. Prepare pie filling as directed on package for pie, using 2 1/2 cups milk. Fold in 1/2 cup of the Whipped topping and pour over banana in shell. Chill at least 3 hours. Top with remaining whipped topping; garnish with banana slices and mint,if desired.
