PREHEAT oven to 400 deg.
LINE cookie sheet with heavy duty foil.
LAY saltine crackers side by side to cover sheet.
BRING sugar and butter to Boil
POUR mixture over crackers.
BAKE at 400 deg. for 7 mins.
REMOVE from oven. TURN off.
POUR chocolate chips over crackers and put back in oven for 1 min.
REMOVE from oven and spread evenly.
SPRINKLE with walnuts. (Dried Cranberries - optional) OR CRUSHED CANDY CANE
REFRIGERATE for min. 4 hours.
Break into pieces.
