This creates an easily workable pastry in five minutes that I use a lot. It is perfect for a pie of tart and can easily serve eight once it has some sort of filling.
1)
Place flours, sugar and butter into food processor.
2)
Process on medium til it resembles bread crumbs.
3)
Break egg into mix.
4)
Mix on medium for thirt seconds, you'll see when it ready by the ball t trans into.
5)
Blind bake for 10 minutes at 160C.
6)
Allow to cool and return to oven fr a further 10 - 15 minutes normal baking.
7)
Refrigerate and fill with choice of filling, have tried with both the custard and lemon tart filling.
