| 1 cupShortening; Soft |
| 2 Eggs |
| 2 3/4 cupsFlour |
| 2 teaspoonsCream of Tartar |
| 1 teaspoonBaking Soda |
| 1/2 teaspoonSalt |
| 2 tablespoonsSugar |
| 2 teaspoonsCinnamon |
Snickerdoodle Cookies Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 F
Mix 1.5 cups sugar, shortening, and eggs.
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, and baking soda.
Chill dough.
Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts.
Combine 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Roll cookies in this mixture.
Bake for 8-10 minutes and cool on wire racks.
