Original recipe makes 2 Servings
87 gramsRice; 1/2 taza
1 1/3 cupWater
1 Tomato; Molido
1 cloveFresh garlic, peeled
1 tablespoonOil
1 sprigFresh Coriander
1/4 teaspoonSalt,table

Arroz Rojo Preparation

1. Fría el ajo en la cucharada de aceite, y muela con el jitomate, colarlo y dejar a un lado

2. Lave el arroz con suficiente agua y escurra muy bien, fríalo hasta quedar bien dorado, añadirle el jitomate molido y colado hasta que seque

3. Agregue el agua, un poco de sal y el cilantro y déjelo hervir. Baje el fuego y tape hasta que se seque.

Variantes: En lugar de agua se le puede agregar caldo de pollo. También, al arroz cuando vaya a hervir, se le puede poner chícharos, zanahorias, calabazas picadas.
