Stuffed French Toast
Stuffed French Toast Preparation
Cube a loaf of french bread and put into a greased 9X13 baking dish.
Mix the first 4 ingredients: eggs, sugar, salt, milk and pour over the bread. Refrigerate overnight.
Into a bowl, add brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter. Work in butter till the size of peas. Use 1/2 of this mixture for casserole and freeze the other half for another time.
Add berries and crumb mixture over the bread mixture and bake for 45 minutes at 375.
Serve warm with syrup, powdered sugar or whipping cream.
Makes a wonderful breakfast casserole, dessert and brunch casserole.
