Gluten free onion rings.
Mix the dry ingredients together, then slowly add milk to make a thin batter. Pour slowly until you reach a consistency that is not too thin nor too thick. You want it to cling to the onions, not drip off, but you don't want it difficult to submerse your onion pieces, either!
Heat gluten free grape seed oil in skillet over medium heat and add battered onion rings to pan. Fry until golden brown.
I have used both my wok for this and my trusty cast iron, I think the cast iron works the best, just have to carefully flip them with a fork once! *I use Bob's Red Mill gluten free pizza crust mix.
