Def easy to make. I upped the coconut milk based on other reviews I like lots of sauce. I found all of the spices with no problem. Had to make a speical trip to trader joe's for the coconut milk local stores didn't carry it. I wasn't too impressed with it my hubby ate it but then again he'll eat anything. This is not going to be a regular in my house may make it once a year...maybe
I loved this recipe. My nephew got cream of coconut instead of coconut milk so this was a little sweet however, it was good with just a little bit of heat too it. I wouldn't mind keeping the sweet and adding more heat. I also think that it would be great over Quinoa if you didn't want rice.
This lacked the heat that I look for in this is kind of dish. I suppose it is a welcome compromise for those who like these "Indian" flavors, but don't prefer much heat. The meat was very tender. If I were to make it again, I would tweak it to add some heat.
this dish was exellent i served it with saffron rice next time i will try it with
jasmine rice i liked the idea of using individual spices as opposed to using a
pre-made curry powder so as to adjust the amount of spice to my own taste yum!!!
I used GARAM MASALA instead of all the first spices starting with "c". It has them all in it. I also used whipping cream instead of milk. Everyone raved over this dish! It was easy. I served over Basmati rice with a salad. What a dinner for 12!
