Original recipe makes 12 Servings
1/2 cOnion; minced
1 cSoft bread crumbs
2 Eggs; beaten
3 tbSugar
3/4 tsGround allspice
1 1/2 tsSalt
1/2 tsGround nutmeg
1 1/2 lbGound beef
1 cBarbecue sauce
3/4 cmilk
1/2 lbGround pork
3 tbButter or margarine

Swedish Meatballs #2 Preparation

Brown onions in butter or margarine. Combine all ingredients except barbecue sauce. Mix well and shape into small balls about 1 inch in diameter. Brown well in baking pan in preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Arrange browned meat balls in a 2-1/2 quart heat-resistant glass bowl. Pour barbecue sauce over meat balls and heat for 20 minutes at 350 degrees or cook in an electric skillet. Insert colorful toothpicks to serve. From . Downloaded from G Internet, G Internet.
