These churros are baked, not fried. They are extremely easy to make and are best when served immediatly.
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
2. unfold thawed pastry puff and cut into 1 inch wide strips
3. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden
4. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon
5. When the pastry is done baking, brush the sticks with the melted butter and sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon mix. Turn over and repeat.
I bake on parchment paper. I cut the pastry in half one direction and then into strips in the opposite direction yielding 12 churros that are approximatley 1 x 5.
