Original recipe makes 12 Servings
1 1/2 BoxesNilla cookies
3-4 MediumBananas; Peeled and sliced
1 Sm boxBanana cream instant pudding mix
2 Sm boxesVanilla instant pudding mix
5 1/4 CupsMilk

Banana Pudding Preparation

In a large dish, I use 9 x 13 glass baking dish, place Nilla cookies, flat side down until the bottom of the dish is covered. Place a layer of sliced bananas, about half, on top of the cookies.

Stir together all pudding mixes and cold milk in a separate bowl until well combined. Very slowly, pour about 2/3 of the pudding over the bananas and cookies. Place another layer of cookies and remaining banana slices and cover with remaining pudding. Carefully spread the pudding to cover most to all bananas and cookies. Let set for one to two minutes

Carefully place a final layer of cookies, in a decorative fashion if desired, on top of the pudding. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour. Serve cold. We like it with whipped cream.
