Sugar-Plum Bacon Preparation

From: Pam and KerryAnn Cobb Date: Sat, 10 Aug 1996 13:56:09 -0500 Let bacon come to room temperature. Cut each slice in half lenthwise. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Coat each bacon slice with the brown-sugar mixture. Twist and place in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or till bacon is crisp and sugar is bubbly. Watch bacon closely as sugar burns easily. Place the cooked bacon slices on foil to cool. Serve at room temperature. Makes 8 servings. EAT-L Digest 9 August 96 From the EAT-L recipe list.
