Original recipe makes 9 Servings
2 tsBaking Powder
2/3 cBananas; mashed
2 cAll-purpose flour
3 Eggs
1 cWalnuts; chopped
1 tsGround cinnamon
3/4 cWater
1/2 cButter; softened
1 tsBaking soda

Sugarless Banana Walnut Cake Preparation

In a mixing bowl, beat the bananas and butter until creamy. Add the eggs and beat well. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon; add to banana mixture alternately with water, beating well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Spoon into a greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool. From: Mildred Burkett, Greencastle, Pennsykvania
