"I gave this 5 stars because of the intense fragrance during the long cooking process, and the wonderful flavor. I did feel it necessary to double the liquid called for to cover the beef in the crock pot, since there wasn't enough as written. Assumed that the "un-drained piece" was mushrooms." - Sherri

Beer Braised Beef in Crock Pot Preparation

Preparation: Put the beef in the crock pot. Combine all the other ingredients and pour over the beef. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. Before serving thicken juices if desired. Joyce says she uses some flour or corn starch to do this. Posted to MC-Recipe Digest V1 #322 From: "Keri, J. (Mike)" Date: Sat, 30 Nov 1996 00:53:26 -0800

Easy to put together. Just not enough flavor for my family.
