Original recipe makes 10
2 1/2 tsBaking Powder
2 Eggs
1 1/4 cmilk
3 cCake flour
2/3 cShortening
3/4 tsSalt
1 1/2 tsVanilla
1 3/4 cSugar

Birthday Cake Preparation

Cream sugar & shortening & add the eggs, beat 2 min. Add flour baking powder & salt which have been blended to - gether alternately with the milk and vanilla. Bake in greased layer cake pans in 350 oven 30 min.
