1/4 tsBlack walnut extract
2 cFlour; sifted
4 Eggs
1 tsVanilla
1 tbWhite corn syrup
1 1/2 cVegetable oil
2 cSugar
1 tsCinnamon
1/2 tsBaking soda
BUTTERMILK GLAZE
1/2 cButtermilk
3 ccarrots; Grated
1 cblack walnuts; Chopped
1 cpowdered sugar; Sifted

Grease a 10-inch tube pan. Mix all ingredients together. Bake 90 minutes. Remove from oven and, while cake is still hot, glaze with Buttermilk Glaze. Buttermilk Glaze: Blend all ingredients well.
