30 ozBlack Beans; Undrained, 2 Cn
1 tsRed Chiles, Ground
1 Chipotle Chile; **
1/4 cOnion; Chopped, 1 Sm
1/2 tsSalt
2 Jalapeno Chiles; *
2 ClovesGarlic; Finely Chopped
2 tbVegetable oil

Refried Black Beans Preparation

* The Jalapeno peppers should be seeded, with care, and finely ** The Chipotle Chile should be one that has been canned in Adobo Sauce ~------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cook and stir the onion, jalapeno peppers, and the garlic in the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat until the onion is tender.
