Mincemeat bars with cinnamon, nutmeg, and mace
Cream shortening. Gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Combine flour, soda, salt, and spices. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in mincemeat and remaining ingredients.
Spoon batter into a greased and floured 15" X 10" baking pan. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes at 350 degrees, or until lightly browned. Cool and cut into bars.
