8 - cup Muffin tin or 6 cup popover tin
Preheat oven to 350. Place the muffin or popover tin into the oven
In a medium bowl, whisk the flor and salt together. Heat the milk in a heavy small saucepan over medium heat untill very warm. about 125 degrees. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl to blend. Gradually whisk the warm milk into the eggs ( so they dont scramble). Gradually stir the flour mixture into the milk mixture, just to blend, dont over - mix ( the batter may be slightly lumpy)
Remove the hot tin from the oven and spray it with non stick spray. Divid the popover batter amoung the tin receptacles. top each with 1 1/2 tablespoons of cheese. Bake untill puffed and deep brown, about 40 minutes. Remove the popovers from the pan.
