Original recipe makes 1 Servings
2 tsSalt
1 cCider vinegar
1 ozLiquid smoke flavoring
2 tsBlack pepper; coarse ground
1/2 cCatsup
1 tsGarlic powder
Coloring; if desired**
1/2 tsCayenne pepper
16 ozTomato sauce
1 cSugar
1/2 cKaro dark corn syrup
2 tsOnion powder
3 tbCornstarch
2/3 cCorn oil
2 tsTurmeric
1/4 cMolasses
1/2 tsPaprika

Rib-Eye Express B-B-Q Sauce Preparation

Cook all ingredients except sugar, molasses and Karo, for 15 minutes. Stir until hot and very well blended. Add in sugars and mix thoroughly. Do not attempt to cook sauce more until well blended. Adjust thickness with additional cornstarch to desired thickness. **Either caramel coloring or natural portum may be used to deepen the color.
