Original recipe makes 12 Servings
1 lgRipe banana; mashed
1 cAll-purpose flour
1 tsBaking Powder
2 Eggs
1 Carrot; shredded
1/2 tsBaking soda
1 cSkim milk
1/3 cWalnuts; chopped
1/4 cBrown Sugar; firmly packed
1/4 tsSalt
1 cBran flake cereal; crushed
1 1/2 tsCinnamon

Bran Banana Bars Preparation

Lightly grease an 8 inch square baking pan. In a medium bowl, combine, flour,cereal, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. In a small bowl, combine milk, eggs, carrot, banana and nuts. Add to dry ingredients, mixing well. Spoon batter into pan. Bake at 375 F for 25 to 35 minutes or until browned.
