Original recipe makes 4 Servings
1 cCheddar cheese, grated
Pepper; to taste
4 Fresh zucchini, about 4"
4 slBacon, halved
Fresh parsley, chopped, for

Broiled Baby Zucchini with Bacon and Cheese Preparation

Preheat broiler and but broiling pan 7" from heat. Split unpeeled zucchini lengthwise and sprinkle cut sides with pepper. Put on heated pan and broil 10 minutes. Put a bacon piece on each zucchini half and top generously with cheese. Broil approximately 5 minutes longer, or until bacon is crisp and cheese is golden brown and bubbly. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. NOTES : The family just loves these.
