Line baking sheet with foil (this is very important as the balsamic can get a little sticky).
Prep brussels sprouts by cutting off the root end. Remove loose leaves - they will likely fall off or come off easily with your fingers. Cut each sprout in half.
Place on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil (not too much, but not too little. We want these little guys to cook, but not stick. Just enough to coat each sprout lightly.) Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Toss it in the oven for 10 minutes.
Next, the balsamic glaze.
Put balsamic vinegar and honey and place in a small saucepan on medium-high. Boil, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes until syrupy. The timing on this may give or take a bit. I generally let mine go a little longer because I like the glaze to be very syrupy and thick. Just don't overcook this because it will be impossible to get out of the pan if you do. Don't leave this one on the stove to go answer the door / pet the dog / watch Real Housewives / etc. Keep an eye on it.
After the sprouts have gone for 10 minutes in the oven, remove from oven and toss a bit. Place back in the oven for another 5--6 minutes or so, depending on the level of bit your prefer in your sprouts.
After the sprouts are done, drizzle with the balsamic glaze and toss on the baking sheet so that all of the sprouts are covered. Lightly salt again, if desired.
