Original recipe makes 10 Servings
2 dsSalt
3 clGarlic (small)
2 Sm. Green Peppers, chopped
4 tbCumin
1 cnPeeled whole tomatoes with
1 cnChili hot beans (15 1/2 oz.)
1 lbBeef (tip steak) cubed
1 tsOregano
1 lbGround beef
6 tbChili powder (Mexene)
1 cnStewed tomatoes (16 oz.)
2 tbHot sauce (La Preferida)
1 tsSugar
1 cnTomato sauce (8 oz).
1 tbChilantro leaves
2 Med. Onions, coarse chopped
1/2 cBurgundy wine

Buds Sunday (2-21) Chilli Preparation

Brown meat with 1 of the chopped onions. Drain grease. Place meat onions, remainder of onions, green peppers, and the rest of the ingredients into stockpot. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 or 2 hrs, covered. Cool 1 hr. Reaheat before serving.
