Very old BE-RO recipie from my Gran. Oaty ginger biscuit:)
Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly,rub in margarine,
Beat egg,milk and syrup, then add to mixture, till a paste.
place single teaspoonfuls in rounds, on a baking sheet.
Bake in a moderate oven 3-4 for 15-20 mins.
