I started making this in a rush because another recipe was not going to work out. This saved me! Part way through the process, I realised that my partner does not love lemon juice as much as I do! So I melted butter, added lemon juice, dried Italian seasoning instead of fresh herbs. Then I brushed the salmon on each side with the butter and lemon mixture, then drizzled a little honey over each side, and spread it/mixed it with a knife. I grilled it under the grill/broiler for 2 mins each side, re-basting every time, then I re-basted and wrapped the fillets in foil and baked them in the oven for 10 mins. Served it with new potatoes and broccoli. Perfect! we both loved it. Will use again, with my modifications.

Amazingly delicious and simple to make. Sometimes just the simplest flavoring make a great fish like Salmon really shine. Thanks for reminding me of one of the most basic lessons you can learn in culinary school!

This was my first time cooking salmon. It was very easy to prepare, however I doubled the sauce and used real lemons. Since everyone doesn't eat salmon I also made it with chicken breast. I served it with fettucini, broccoli , and tomato salad. There were no left overs. Next time I will make more sauce to coat the fettucini noodles.

Easy to make. Watch out for the salmon, don't overcook it. :)
