4 1/2 ts Baking Powder
3/4 c Butter or margarine
1 1/8 c Island Fresh milk
3 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt

Original recipe makes 24



Preheat electric oven to 450 F. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder into mixing bowl. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter. Add milk all at once and stir just until all flour is dampened. Drop batter by 2 tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 24 biscuits. They are amazing! I added 4 tsp of sugar and 2tsp of cinnamon and the result became even better!

Do I have to use island milk, or can I use regular milk? If so what is island milk?

For vegan version use soy milk and vegan margarine...easy and delicious!
