Grandma's Easter potatoes
Preheat oven to 350. Butter a 9x13in pan and set aside. Mix 1/2 cup melted butter, salt, pepper, chopped onion, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and shredded cheese in a large bowl. Add frozen hash brown potatoes and mix. Pour into prepared pan. Mix corn flakes and remaining 1/4 cup melted butter and spread over potato mixture. Bake for 45-60 min.
covering the casserole with tin foil after baking to keep it warm will make the topping soggy
