Satays
| 1/2 Onion, minced |
| 1 lbChicken breasts, |
| 1 tbBrown sugar |
| The juice of 1 lime |
| 1 tbNampla ("fish sauce") |
| 1 tbVegetable oil |
| 3 Cloves of minced garlic |
| 2 tsMinced cilantro |
Satays Preparation
Thread the meet onto 12-inch bamboo skewers, placing several strips on each of the 16 skewers. Combine the garlic, onion, cilantro, brown sugar, lime juice, nampla, and vegetable oil in a bowl. Pour over the skewers and marinate for 1 hour. Heat barbecue coals until hot, or preheat a broiler. Place the skewers on the grill or broiler rack and cook until done as desired.
