Original recipe makes 4 Servings
Dash pepper
2 tbOnion; chopped
2 cCheddar cheese; shredded
1/4 cFlour
1 tsSalt
1 1/2 cmilk
1/4 cMargarine
1/2 lbHam; cut into 1/8" slices
1/2 tsDry mustard
6 cPotato slices; cooked

Saucy Ham and Potato Bake Preparation

Saute onion in margarine. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk; cool, stirring constantly until thickened. Add 1-1/2 cups cheese; stir until melted. Toss potatoes in cheese sauce. Pour into 2-quart casserole, reserving 1 cup potato slices. Arrange ham and remaining potato slices on top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining cheese.
