2 tbVegetable oil
6 Green chilies
3 mdpotatoes; diced
1 lg clovegarlic; minced
2 tsSalt
2 lbLean beef round; or pork

Caldillo (New Mexican Green Chili Stew Preparation

Cube meat, sprinkle with salt and fry until brown in oil. Add potatoes to browned meat together with onion, garlic, salt, chili and enough water to cover. Continue to add water if necessary.
