California 3-Bean Chili
|1 Green bell pepper; coarsely|
|4 tsChili powder|
|1 cnWhole tomatoes (14.5oz);|
|1 cnBlack beans (15oz); drained|
|1 cOnions; chopped|
|1 tsGround cumin|
|1 tsGarlic powder|
|1/2 tsSeasoned pepper|
|CALIFORNIA SPICE BLEND|
|2 tbolive oil|
|1 cnRed kidney beans (15oz);|
|1/2 cDry Red Wine|
|1 cnWhite northern beans (15oz);|
|1 tsBasil leaves|
California 3-Bean Chili Preparation
1. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and green pepper, cook 5 minutes, stirring often. 2. Stir in spice blend and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with shredded cheese and chopped onion, if desired. Makes 6 cups.
