Suggest a better descriptionPlace one sliced onion at bottom of slow cooker. Stud pork roast with garlic cloves and salt and pepper.
Place pork roast in slow cooker on top of onion and cover with second sliced onion. Fill cooker with water until 2/3 full. Cover and cook for 8 hours.
When cool, remove onion and drain water. Pry pork apart, pour in your favorite bottle of barbecue sauce, cook on high for 1-3 hours.
Serve with crusty bread.
