Savory chicken and rice soup for when you are feeling low
Combine butter and flour an cook until slightly browned. Add chicken broth and whisk all lumps out. Add salt, white pepper, garlic powder, italian salad dressing mix, whisk gently together. Add chicken, bring to a boil and lower to a simmer; cook for 12 minutes.
Add milk, lemon juice and wine and rice. Cook over low until heated through. Serve garnished with parsley.
Do not allow soup to boil, this will cause the milk to curdle.
