Caramel Nut Slices Preparation
Cream shortening, butter and sugar. Add eggs. Add flour, salt and soda. Form into rolls. Roll in waxed paper. Chill overnight or freeze for later use. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes. Makes 12 dozen. MRS DONALD MCMICKLE (CLARICE) AUBREY, AR From the book
