Suggest a better descriptionCombine pears and lemon juice; toss gently. Combine sugar, 1/3 cup flour, and ginger; add sugar mixture and corn syrup to pears. Spoon mixture into pastry shell. Combine 1/3 cup flour and brown sugar in a small bowl; blend well. Add butter; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle on pear mixture. Bake at 450 degrees F for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F, and bake 30 minutes longer. Yield: One 9-inch pie. From Ethel C.
